Sixth Form Open Evening – Tuesday 7^th  November from 6:00 pm – 8pm

I am writing to invite you and your son/daughter to our Sixth Form Open Evening on the 7^th November. This is an important event in the educational life of all our students and we look forward to welcoming you.

You will have the opportunity to attend a talk from the Principal Mr Charles Joseph, and you will be invited to tour our subject stands and use the opportunity to talk to teachers about the Post 16 courses that are on offer at Brockhill Park.

There will be 2 speeches, please choose which speech you wish to attend when you book your place: 

Speech 1:  6:15 p.m.

Speech 2:   6:45 p.m.

Sixth Form Open Evening Booking

This is an important time for your son or daughter and deciding on their next steps can be an overwhelming experience.  Here at Brockhill we guide our Year 11 students through the many choices that they have available to them.  Post 16 choices need careful consideration as students can choose to stay on at school, attend college or enrol on an apprenticeship scheme.  Now is the right time to start thinking about these choices.  You can help your son or daughter by starting to talk to them about where they see themselves studying when they have completed their GCSE studies, if they intend to then progress onto university post 18, and, what type of subject areas or careers they may be interested in.  We always tell our students that nothing is set in stone now and the best way forward is to explore their options. 

 

We have a successful, friendly, and high achieving Sixth Form here at Brockhill.  Many of our student’s progress onto university and those that do not, find gainful employment or apprenticeships.  We are proud of the work that we do in the Sixth Form, and proud of the outcomes of our students.  We would very much like to welcome your son or daughter into our Sixth Form in September 2024 to continue their educational journey with us.  Please see our prospectus as a guide to what is on offer here at Brockhill.

Applications to the Sixth Form are to be made through the Kent Choices Website:

 All Brockhill students will be sent their login and password details via their school

email address.  External students can apply via Kent Choices.  This service is open for applications from the 1^st November.
