Letter to parents 8th June
June 8th 2020
Dear Parents
Thank you for your support with Home School today. Welcome back to Year 11 as you start your pre A level work.
We will continue to step up the number of live lessons via Webex or Google Meet this week to ensure a good amount of ‘face-to-face’ contact between students and their teachers, particularly in Years 10 & 12. We are also currently considering how we may offer safe socially distanced parents’ evening style events during the school day and spread over several days for these Year Groups later in the term. We will contact you further in respect of this during next week.
We hope you received your weekly Guardian Summary email last Friday about work carried out by your daughter or son in Google Classroom. We and Google are aware of some isolated incidents of the Weekly Summary showing work as not submitted when in fact it has been. This is however easily checked with your daughter or son in their Google classroom.
Tomorrow, Tuesday’s Tutor Activity is Numeracy. We will also be issuing new books to students during this week via our Digital Library.
Please run through this latest Gov.uk Guidance on Social Distancing with your daughter or son.
Stay safe.
Yours sincerely
Sonette Schwartz Charles Joseph
