Letter to parents 23rd October
October 23rd 2020
Dear Parents
Thank you for your support this half-term.
Work will be set in the Google Classroom for all students in Years 7 – 13 as per their timetable on Monday, November 2nd and Tuesday, November 3rd, whilst the Years’ 10 – 13 Parents’ Days take place.
Students in all Year Groups should work through their tasks each day and submit them promptly at the end of each session, or the end of the day when they have been attending school with their parents. Please see our Using Google Classroom for students if you need any reminders.
Literacy work will be posted in Google Classroom for Daily Tutor Time on both Monday and Tuesday.
We then look forward to welcoming all students back to on site lessons from Wednesday, November 4th.
Staff have nominated more than 400 students for Awards and we will be sending these out to parents after the half-term break.
A few reminders for a few students:
- We do not permit pods or headphones on site (we will confiscate these to return to parents from after half-term).
- Students may of course wear a coat, which conforms with our uniform list in our Behaviour Policy, but this must not be instead of their school blazer.
- Non-school uniform sweaters, gilets or hoodies are not permitted (we will confiscate these to return to parents from after half-term).
- Phones must be turned off and in bags during lessons and movement between lessons.
Stay safe.
Yours sincerely
