Letter to parents 10th February

 February 10th 2021

Dear Parents / Guardians

Thank you for your support of Home School today.

Tomorrow Thursday, please be aware that all our staff will again be working remotely on account of site closure related to boiler replacement, the poor weather forecast and conditions underfoot. We expect and hope all our systems will operate normally.

This week subject teachers will be signposting students to the excellent pre-recorded lessons for their subject on BBC i-player and Oak National Academy as a complement to – but not instead of - Brockhill Live Online lessons.

Access to the Oak National Academy lessons will now be ‘data-free’ across a broad range of providers.

From the Parents’ Guide we have issued to you, today we are signposting Digital Resilience Toolkit.

Scrolling down the page after the 2 minute video you will see a number of tabs with questions, which reflect common parental concerns about appropriate digital parenting in a digital age. Please take a look and use these resources to have conversations around e-safety.

The Daily Tutor Time activity tomorrow is:

Thursday:  PSHE

Students should access these materials and submit their work to their Daily Tutor at the end of the day.

We want all our students to remain safe by following the National Lockdown Guidance

as well as to remember social distancing, hand washing and face coverings, so as to play their part in the fight against the spread of COVID-19.

Yours Sincerely,
