Letter to parents 22nd February
February 22nd 2021
Dear Parents / Guardians
Thank you so much for your support of Home School last half-term.
At the end of the half-term we were able to send 682 letters and certificates of commendations to parents in recognition of their children’s commitment over the 6 weeks. This reflects an outstanding level of commitment on the part of the student body and of course their parents.
To receive a commendation students needed to be nominated by at least 2 of their teachers. This half-term we want to challenge all students to increase the number of nominations they receive from teachers, so we can again recognize and celebrate commitment and achievement before Easter.
Tomorrow morning, Live Online lessons will resume and we want very much to secure 100% student attendance.
Whatever announcements are made today by Government in respect of dates for schools to return to on site provision, we will look forward to welcoming students back, but equally we remain committed to offering the best possible remote learning provision until that time.
Please ensure your daughter(s) or son(s) submit today’s Google Classroom assignments to their teachers today.
The Daily Tutor Time activity tomorrow is:
Students should let their Daily Tutor for Tuesday know what and how much they have read at the end of tomorrow.
We want all our students to remain safe by following the National Lockdown Guidance
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/national-lockdown-stay-at-home
as well as to remember social distancing, hand washing and face coverings, so as to play their part in the fight against the spread of COVID-19.
Stay safe.
Yours Sincerely,
Sonette Schwartz
