Arrangements for Friday, July 21^st - the final day of the school year

 

We will be running next Friday, July 21^st the last day of this school year as a non-uniform day for the students. 

Please ensure that your son/daughter bring in a £1 contribution for the non-uniform day. At the request of the Student Council we will be donating all proceeds to wwf.org.uk the World Wildlife Fund.

The theme for the day is ‘Brockfest’ and students will undertake a guided, staged walk through some of our beautiful local countryside. Students will register as normal in the morning and then depart in their Tutor Groups. Please ensure your daughter or son wears appropriate shoes for the walk and that they bring water, sun cream and a hat.

On return to school students will have opportunities to participate in or watch a range of activities:

 

-          Sports activities

-          An Art Workshop

-          Performance Workshop

The School lunch service will be barbecue format and buses are scheduled to leave school at 1.30pm. Students wishing to have school lunch should bring £2 cash as the cashless system does not work outside! Students might like to bring some ice cream money with them as there will be an ice cream van on site after we return from our Walk.
