Dear Parents of Year 11,

We met with the whole of Year 11 yesterday afternoon to deliver some key messages to your child. We held a ‘mini Revision meet’, which was a session with multiple topics delivered in small bite-size presentations by key teachers.

With just over 100 school days left before the first examination hall paper in the Summer, we emphasized the importance of attending the afterschool revision sessions. The timetable for this can be accessed by following the link below:

We then discussed two of our key electronic resources that we are recommending: GCSEPOD and Seneca Learning. Both of these resources are free to students and allow them to revise particular topics and then test themselves. They are highly interactive and are proven to increase learning significantly.

With the first series of Pre-Public Examinations happening between Tuesday 12th November and Thursday 14th November students will find these resources incredibly useful.
