Dear Parents and students
Thank you for your support and students, for your hard work this week.
Students had earned 2902 Excellent Effort Points by breaktime this morning. Keep it up Brockhill!
During this week Year 11 students have taken mini Walking Talking Mock (teachers help) in most of their subjects and will Pre-public Examinations (teachers don’t help) during the week beginning Monday, December 9th. Students will sit these examinations in their regular classrooms, as they sat Pre-public GCSE examinations in English, Maths and Science earlier this half-term.
On Monday, Year 7 students attended an assembly on the importance of kindness: - Kindness Assembly
Year 11 assembly on Thursday, led by Ms Humphries focused on Study Skills. We send Weekly Revision Tips to Years 11 and 13 students and their parents each week. If you or your daughter or son did not receive these earlier this week, please let us know.

It is important that students start planning a weekly revision timetable, if they have not already. Please do encourage your daughter or son to do this and share their timetable with you.
As ever, students have participated in a range of activities this week with our young Farmers taking a number of Brockhill reared animals to the Fat Stock show in Ashford on Tuesday and Wednesday. Our Year 9 boys’ football team also represented us very well against Towers School.
Also on Wednesday, Mrs Eastham led 198 students to our beautiful local Saltwood Church for the Brockhill Carol Service, hosted by Reverend Knott. Today,
And today, Mr Masters and our A level students have welcomed Mars Washington and benefited from the insights of a professional photographer.
Next week, students not attending the pantomime should register in school as normal. Thereafter, they will work on assignments set according to their normal timetable with the supervision and support of teachers.
The school Christmas Dinner will be served to students in the Terrace Restaurant next Wednesday at a cost of £2.75p including dessert. The Christmas Dinner will of course be available to all students.
Kent Police have requested we share their Annual Policing Survey, seeking the public’s views on trust in the Police, safety where we live and what the Force’s priorities should be. The results will be used to set Kent Police’s priorities next year and how we can work with you to improve safety.
