Year 8 Learning Pathways Evening - Wednesday 23rd April

 

Just as a reminder we are running our year 8 Learning Pathways Evening on Wednesday, April 23rd presentations in the Sports’ Hall. You should have received a personalised invitation letter with a time of your presentation. 

When you arrive and book in on the evening, you will receive a personalised booklet explaining the choices that need to be made, as well as a further booklet with the details of each course on offer.

After the presentation you will have the opportunity to talk with teaching staff in the SAGA building to find more about the choices available.

Following the evening, we will arrange assemblies for students in subjects they have not studied before to help ensure they make the best possible choices.

Please also take the opportunity during the evening to arrange your individual consultation meeting to take place with each student and their parents between Tuesday, May 6^th and Friday, May 23rd. Our administrators will be on hand for you to do this when you book in.

Appointments for the individual consultation meetings will run mornings on site at Brockhill from 9 – 11.30am and afternoons on line from 2 – 4pm. Please ensure you ‘have your diary with you’ and a good idea of a date and possible times you would like to book your individual consultation meeting for, so appointments can be booked in quickly  and efficiently.

Choices will be indicated on the options booklet which needs to be returned to the school no later than Friday, May 23^rd (or the date of your individual consultation meeting if that is earlier).
