Letter to Parents 4th April 2025
Dear Parents and students
Thank you for all your support of your daughters and sons this half-term.
We had sent 1616 Excellent Effort Points to parents of students by Wednesday evening, where teachers have recognised students are completing their personal best home or classwork.
We are delighted to be sending letters of commendation to the parents of 1045 students today for the submission of personal best class and homework assignments. Of the 1045 students, 411 have been nominated by 3 or more of their teachers and their parents will also receive a Bronze, Silver or Gold Certificate of Commendation.
Please ask students to submit all their Remote Learning assignments today. We will recognise their efforts today early on next term.
We were busy beyond the classroom too this week.
On Monday, the Fire Brigade paid an educational visit to Brockhill and worked with younger students around the importance of fire safety. On Tuesday, students from all Year Groups visited our beautiful Saltwood Church for the Brockhill Easter Service led by Reverend Barry Knott.
Wednesday saw Years 7 & 8 students playing in the County Dodgeball Finals held at Medway Sports Park, following their victory in the local event a few weeks ago with Thursday bringing NHS Careers’ Talks for Years 9, 10 and 12 and a PE day out in the sun for Year 11.
Teachers have continued to set homework tasks this week for all Year Groups and have provided revision resources and tasks on Google classroom for students in Years 11 & 13 sitting Public Examinations in the summer.
In addition, we have provided
Year 11 - Revision Planning, Revision Tips and Managing Stress – Guides for Parents and Students
