Dear Parents / Guardians

 

Thank you for all your support of us this term.

Students will be learning remotely tomorrow, Thursday, April 1^st with work set in Google Classroom for all students. Students should stick to their normal timetable and work on those tasks through the day and submit all work at the end of the day. Teachers will also set Homework Assignments in Google Classroom as per the Homework Timetable.

Our Learning Pathways event for Tuesday, April 27^th will run remotely and we will contact you with further details during the first week of next term. Please see also our

As we approach the holiday, we want to remind all our students to remain safe by following the National Guidance Corona Virus Restrictions: What you can and cannot do

as well as to remember social distancing, hand washing and face coverings, so as to play their part in the fight against the spread of COVID-19.

Please remind your daughter or son of the importance of reading for just 20 minutes per day. This has been demonstrated to be hugely beneficial in raising student attainment in the range of subjects they study.

Please do ensure they have chosen a book and are reading daily from our

Digital Library

Teachers will be placing Easter holiday revision assignments in the Google Classroom for Years 11 and 13 students to help prepare for assessments, which we will carry out to inform the Centre Assessed Grades we submit to Examination Boards. For all other Year Groups teachers have this week set Homework as per our Homework timetable for submission after the upcoming holiday. High quality subject based resources are also available on

During the school holiday, please carry on testing –twice weekly rather than once a week. Please ensure your child completes a test the day before they return to school after the holiday. Please also remember to keep ordering Lateral Flow Test Kits for you and all your family.

If your daughter or son tests positive between this evening and the following Monday, April 5^th please let us know by email to the school office account.

It is our intention to continue testing students once weekly as per our regular schedule in the summer term.
