Arrangements and Results’ Days 2021
July 6th 2021
Dear Parents / Guardians and Students
We are writing to you further to our letters of April 26th and May 27th and in respect of the issuing of Examination Results to students this summer.
We completed our submission of students’ Centre Assessed Grades (otherwise referred to as Teacher Assessed Grades or TAGs) by June 18th and have also submitted a number of samples of student evidence as requested by the Examination Boards since that date.
Issuing of results this year will be by email. There will be no on site issuing of Examination Results.
Examinations Results’ Days this year are:
Tuesday, August 10th A level
Thursday, August 12th GCSE
Examination results will be emailed to each individual student’s school email accounts shortly before midday on the appointed day.
We will also issue a reminder to parents via Intouch that the results have been sent to students’ email accounts. We will not be able to issue results to parents. Results will only be issued in the manner described Above. The school will not be open to students or parents in respect of Examination Results.
We hope very much that results will bring students all the success they and their parents are hoping for and that these results aid their next steps.
We would like to advise you at this stage that if a student were to appeal a grade awarded in a subject we understand the school would be required to submit the assignments on which it had based the Centre Assessed Grade to the Examination board:
A possible outcome of seeking a re-mark may be that the Examination Board puts the Grade down. We would therefore advise caution and serious reflection before taking this step.
Appeals Procedure and Documentation
Yours Sincerely,
